Ryan and Cami Terpstra
In 2005 when Ryan and Cami were able to fulfill their dream of buying land outside of town to raise their family, little did they know the other dreams that would come along with it! A mere 6 months later (spring 2006), the vision for Flying T Youth Ranch was born after hearing about Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Bend, Oregon. Wanting to see CPYR for himself, Ryan was able to attend an informational clinic that June. He returned home with a passion and a vision for creating a similar youth ranch right here in the Livermore Valley. With a lot of praying, planning , support, and hard work, three years later Flying T Youth Ranch opened it’s gates to families and youth on April 1, 2009. Both Ryan and Cami feel extremely privileged to have seen Flying T become a reality and are grateful for its volunteers and supporters. They look forward to being a place of welcome, friendship and hope for all those who come.

Ron Terpstra - President
Ron has served as the President of FTYR’s Board since it’s inception, and has been a driving force of support, encouragement and direction. With a similar dream of starting a boy’s ranch years ago, Ron’s enthusiasm for seeing Flying T get on it’s feet and thrive is invaluable. His knowledge of owning and running his own business for almost 25 years has set a great foundation for operations here at the ranch.
Dr. Troy Sammons - Board Member
Troy has had a lifelong passion for animals which directed him to his profession as a doctor of veterinary medicine. With his wife and three daughters, Troy currently is serving with Christian Veterinary Mission in Nakuru, Kenya at Rohi Children's Organization. His wisdom and real world experience is a priceless resource to the Flying T Youth Ranch. We are honored to have him as a member of our board.
